Part time: 2 days a monthCertificated Salary Schedule plus mileageUnder the direction of the Director of Special Education and/or site administrator the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher provides specialized instruction and services to preschool-aged children (ages 2 years 9 months5 years old) with identified disabilities. The ECSE Teacher develops and implements individualized educational programs collaborates with families and multidisciplinary teams and provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports each childs academic social-emotional communication behavioral and motor development. Able to do lifting toileting and effective feeding ECSE Teacher may provide services in a variety of settings including preschool classrooms community-based programs and home-based environments as required by student IEPs. RequiredBachelors degree from an accredited college or university. Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential authorizing service to preschool-aged students with disabilities. English Learner Authorization. Experience working with preschool-aged children with disabilities. Experience with inclusive preschool programs. Knowledge of evidence-based practices for early childhood special education. Valid California teaching credential appropriate for assignment. Valid California drivers license. CPR and First Aid certification..
