Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provides a high level of customer service by providing customers with an easy and enjoyable experience by taking care of their needs, & delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance

• Effectively sells by being able to understand the needs of the customer & then directing and persuading them that buying the product will benefit them

• Possesses and maintains up-to-date knowledge of products sold at Happy Jack’s

• Establishes positive relationships with all customers and staff

• Demonstrates professionalism by exhibiting the training, expectations, and values of Happy Jack’s with a high level of excellence resulting in the highest quality experience for all.

• Takes pride in one’s self and work

• Creates an environment that is welcoming by building rapport & relating well to others

• Uses sound judgment to address issues and solve problems

• Independently performs tasks assigned and makes decisions showing initiative

• Exhibits effective communication by listening for understanding in interactions with others through speech & writing

• Stays flexible by adjusting behavior as needed in changing circumstances and is open to new ways of doing things

• Steps up when needed

• Performs fiscal policies and procedures effectively, including cash handling, and immediate reporting of all financial irregularities.

• Responsible for own actions and behaviors, and takes responsibility for successes and mistakes, and learns from both

• Focuses on delivering quality results by striving to meet or exceed expectations & delivers a high value experience for customers and co-workers

• Follows the guidelines of Happy Jack’s and maintains a physically safe and mentally healthy environment for all

• Attends and actively participates in required staff meetings and trainings

• Performs daily opening and closing procedures effectively

• Ensures that the Happy Jack’s store is clean and visually welcoming

• Actively pursues training and learning opportunities relating to the position and focuses on developing competencies

• Demonstrates timeliness and respects the time of others

• Possesses a general knowledge and understanding of Happy Jack’s, its goals, values, and its mission.

• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
