TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Seattle, Washington, 98104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical and Telemetry Float Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with orthopedic and neuro-stroke patients Strong time management skills Description: Travelers must be available for all scheduled shifts. Holiday requests for time off are limited; travelers may take 1 of 3 major holidays off and must work 2 holidays (eve/day). The facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved time off. Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5. Travelers are not accepted if they are first-timers. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Travelers are expected to float across various units, including acute care and telemetry units. Strong time management skills are essential as shifts may be split between different units. Experience with telemetry and acute care is required. Familiarity with Epic charting systems is necessary. Travelers must be proficient in managing peripheral nerve catheters. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available on the unit. Travelers must disclose any background issues when submitting. References are required for consideration.
