Title : Forklift Operator
Location : Buffalo Grove, IL
Hire Type : Direct Hire
Shift : Days (6am - 6pm) and Nights (6pm - 6am)
Compensation :$18.50 - 22/hr (Night shift will receive a 10% shift differential)

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our team. The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize materials efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.


Job Duties:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Move products, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse or facility.
• Stack and store materials in designated areas.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and cleaning as needed.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping/receiving teams.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
