With nearly 3 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects, we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead and witness all site inspections within assigned disciplinesDirect day-to-day operations of multiple QC Teams and QC Team LeadsCoordinate inspections with subcontractors and construction teamsEnsure Inspection Checklist (ICL) reports are accurate, and documentation reflects current project statusVerify work is properly prepared prior to inspectionsReview inspection reports for compliance with project specifications and quality standardsAssist the Site Quality Supervisor with organization, implementation, and maintenance of the site quality management systemPrepare and issue Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) in coordination with the Site Quality SupervisorSupport development and implementation of corrective actionsCoordinate resolution of discrepancies with construction managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client QC representativesReview work procedures and method statements for compliance with contract requirements and industry best practicesIssue QC site instructions and coordinate closureReview inspection and test packages during construction activitiesParticipate in weekly QC meetingsEnsure full compliance with site health and safety regulationsBehavioral ExpectationsSafety-Focused Leadership – Champions safety as a non-negotiable core value across the project lifecycle.Detail-Oriented Execution – Ensures accuracy and timeliness across multiple inspection disciplines and deliverables.Proactive Problem Solver – Navigates complex field challenges with practical and innovative solutions.Strong Planner & Communicator – Sets priorities, allocates resources effectively, and maintains clear communication with stakeholders.Collaborative Team Player – Builds strong relationships across project teams and fosters a culture of accountability.Results-Driven – Self-motivated with a track record of achieving challenging goals.Adaptable & Decisive – Makes sound decisions under pressure while managing shifting project demands.Qualifications and RequirementsRenewable energy and/or construction industry experience preferredExperience leading QC teams in field construction environments preferredBuilding and construction materials, methods, and toolsQA/QC principles and inspection processesMathematics (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics)Technical drawings, blueprints, and design documentsMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel) and construction management softwareMechanical systems knowledgeEngineering and technology applications in renewable energy constructionSafety and regulatory compliance standardsCustomer service and stakeholder engagement principlesEqual Opportunity EmployerGridworks is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and sustainable workplace.
