Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a full-time professional on a contract assignment, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated special education team to promote student well-being and achieve positive educational outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Psychologist credential and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience working with elementary students (K-5) preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral intervention strategies, and IEP process
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students
• Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to support student success
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to create positive learning environments
• Advise educators on classroom interventions and social-emotional learning best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation following school and state guidelines
