Job Title : Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - IV/Oncology
Location : Scottsdale, AZ (located specifically in North Scottsdale, at East Bell Road and the 101)
Compensation : $20-24 per hour
Employment Type : Full Time with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Schedule : On-site Monday through Friday. 5 AM - 1 PM. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!
Position Summary:
Join the Envita Medical Centers team and play an important role in supporting our innovative, patient-focused approach to healthcare. We are looking for an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician who takes pride in accuracy, quality, and making a meaningful impact on patient care.
The ideal candidate is a dependable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and is motivated to do their best work every day.
Required Qualifications :
- Must have an active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License and be PTCB (CPhT) certified
- Must be able to adhere to organization policies and procedures
- Must have the ability to work closely and effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be flexible, friendly, engaging, and proactive
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with little supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
- Knowledge of IV products and compounding procedures
- Experience compounding chemotherapy
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and compound sterile IV and oncology products according to established procedures
- Maintain the pharmacy cleanroom in accordance with USP <797> and <800> requirements
- Complete labels, log sheets, reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely
- Assist with inventory management, organization, and proper storage of medications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment
- Collaborate with the pharmacy and clinical teams to support safe, high-quality patient care
