Job Description

Oma's Cafe is a brand new restaurant seeking a hardworking Full Time Kitchen Assistant to help prepare quality homemade meals in a fast-paced cafe environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, staying organized, and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and cooking
Prepare ingredients and stock kitchen stations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed
Receive and organize food deliveries
Assist with daily opening and closing kitchen duties
Work closely with the owner and kitchen team to ensure timely service

Qualifications

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Dependable and punctual
Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
Must pass background check, and drug screen
