This position is an onsite role in Aurora, CO What You Will Do Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems. Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. What You Will Learn A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design. Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques. Software lifecycle practices for defense projects. Satellite ground system technologies. Qualifications You Must Have A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience Experience designing and developing object-oriented applications using Java. Experience working with COTS/FOSS and performing COTS/FOSS upgrades. An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. An active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance that can be crossed over to a TS/SCI security clearance is also acceptable. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with the satellite ground system domain. Experience troubleshooting software errors and implementing fixes. Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology. Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Test Automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes. Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
