Residential Care Aide - Training Provided!
Job Summary:
Premier Genesee, a leading senior care provider, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Aide to join our team! As a Residential Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, making a meaningful difference in their lives. We offer training to ensure your success in this rewarding career.
Residential Care Aide Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, as needed
• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety and comfort
• Assist with medication administration and management, as directed by nursing staff
• Encourage socialization and engagement through recreational activities and outings
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Residential Care Aide Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with elderly or disabled people
First aid and CPR training preferrable
Friendly, professional demeanor
