Our St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. What You Can Expect:

• We are seeking a Primary RN to join our dynamic Cancer Institute team in Boise. In this collaborative role, you'll work alongside another nurse, in a shared primary nursing model, to support the physician in delivering exceptional patient care. You'll play a key part in fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment while providing personalized care to patients. • Full-time (0.9 FTE): day shift no nights, weekends, or St. Luke's observed holidays
• Schedule: 4 days a week x 9-hour shifts
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay available (ex. OCN)
• Evaluate patients and assist the physician with patient care, chemotherapy management, procedures, and care coordination
• Collaborate and work closely with an interdisciplinary team of providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines in order to provide excellent patient care
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding cancer treatments and management
• Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and lab results, to develop and implement care plans
• Cross train to triage

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years' RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
• Preferred: Oncology experience and/or OCN certification
