Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Lima, Ohio. Start date 07/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,718-$1,861 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM. Setting: hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using age-specific criteria
- Collaborate with ED physicians, support staff, and unit coordinators; supervise and educate LPNs/PCTs and unit secretaries as needed
- Float to all units within the ED scope and skill level when required
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies per orders, document accurately, and communicate changes to the care team
- Respond to emergencies; participate in code responses; perform emergency procedures and maintain patient safety
- Ensure adherence to policies, infection control, and patient advocacy; complete accurate handoffs and care plans

Requirements
- Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state as verified by Nursys
- 1+ year ED experience (Emergency Department)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all active)
- Ability to work in a hospital environment and to float across units within scope
- Must be able to float to all units within skill level as required
- Weekend work: every other weekend
