Server (Part‑time) At Discovery Management Group, you will create a warm dining experience for the residents and guests in our senior living community. Position Highlights Status: Part-time Location: 10620 Validus Dr. Jacksonville, FL 32256 Rate of Pay: $15/hour Responsibilities Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience. Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections. Set up, maintain and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Practice proper food handling, safety and sanitation procedures. Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists. Support orientation and training of new servers as needed. Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality. Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred. Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service. Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Demonstrates good judgment, time management and communication skills. Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift trays, dishes and supplies up to 25–50 lbs. Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and food service equipment.??
