Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Band Saw Operator

Location: Lakeland, FL
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Band Saw Operator to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This is a hands-on position responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outbound shipments, operating a band saw to cut materials to specifications, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare, package, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
• Operate a horizontal or vertical band saw to accurately cut materials according to work orders.
• Read measuring tools and follow cut lists and specifications.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation.
• Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or material handling required.
• Previous experience operating a band saw is required.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.
