Junior Bookkeeper

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting operations in a dynamic and growing organization. Key Responsibilities: Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), payroll , and financial reporting . Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and detailed reports to support key business decisions. Perform bank reconciliations and manage account reconciliations , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing . Manage the general ledger , including month-end and year-end closings . Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines for financial transactions. Prepare and file tax documents , including state and federal tax compliance . Collaborate with external auditors and coordinate audits to ensure the company’s financial integrity . Handle journal entries , accruals , and preparation of financial statements . Assist in budgeting, forecasting , and cash flow management to ensure financial stability. Monitor cash flow , manage multiple financial accounts , and ensure funds are appropriately allocated. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper , Staff Accountant , or in a similar role managing full-cycle accounting. Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles , financial reporting , and accounting standards . Expertise in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero , or similar platforms. Advanced proficiency in Excel , including pivot tables , VLOOKUP , and financial analysis . Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and ensure accuracy. Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking , and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance , or a related field is a plus but not required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
