Travel RN – Women's Services / LDRP (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every third weekend required | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Family Birthing Center, including Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings
• Care for a variety of patient populations ranging from low- to high-risk pregnancies, including low-volume substance use disorder (SUD) cases
• Utilize electronic health record systems (Meditech, OBIX) and equipment including epidural, nitrous oxide, and Monica Novi wireless fetal monitoring
• Apply AWHONN staffing and patient ratio standards throughout all aspects of care delivery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a unit equipped with one main OR and triage capabilities
• Maintain required certifications (NRP, BLS, EFM) and adhere to all facility and unit protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible to practice in Michigan
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum nursing experience
• Required certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS, and EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Comfort and demonstrated experience with L&D, Postpartum, and newborn care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Trauma Level III, Maternal and Neonatal Level I designated facility
• Familiarity with Meditech and/or OBIX electronic health record platforms
• Experience with Monica Novi wireless fetal monitoring systems
• Exposure to high-acuity and high-volume Women's Services environments
