Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the go-to maintenance expert for the facility, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Lead the response to equipment breakdowns by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term corrective solutions. Perform and oversee preventive maintenance activities on production machinery, conveyors, balers, air compressors, electrical systems, and other facility equipment to maximize uptime. Utilize the CMMS system to manage work orders, document repairs, track preventive maintenance schedules, and maintain accurate maintenance records Work closely with production supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities, prioritize repairs, and minimize disruptions to production schedules. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance overall maintenance processes. Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to maintenance technicians, sharing best practices and helping develop technical skills across the team. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and project work, while ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company safety standards and LOTO procedures.
