Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nursing position in Alexandria, LA. This role involves providing patient care on a MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a focus on fostering a positive, friendly, and helpful environment. The position requires working night shifts at least 36 hours per week, starting from November 16, 2026, through February 15, 2027.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of experience in MedSurg Telemetry, with certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) prior to submission, and experience with Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Position Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive care on a 36-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit, utilizing equipment such as EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry monitoring.
• Additional Information: The unit operates with a staffing ratio of 6 to 1 and requires candidates to have a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and helpful nature. Candidates without MedSurg Telemetry experience and ACLS certification will not be considered.
