Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of next-generation digital payment capabilities, with emphasis on real-time money movement P2P payments , and integrations with major payment networks such as Zelle, RTP, FedNow, and ACH. This role requires strong product leadership, deep payments expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, fraud/risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Strategy — Define and evolve the long-term strategy for digital payments, including instant transfers, P2P experiences, and money-movement enhancements.
• Payment Network Integrations — Lead end-to-end integrations with digital payment networks; manage certification, rule compliance, and operational readiness.
• Backlog Ownership — Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized product backlog.
• Agile Delivery Leadership — Partner with engineering to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release execution.
• Fraud, Risk & Compliance Alignment — Ensure secure, compliant payment experiences through close collaboration with fraud, risk, and compliance teams.
• Transaction Lifecycle Oversight — Oversee payment flows including authorization, posting, settlement, exceptions, and reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Engagement — Act as the primary liaison across business, operations, customer support, and technology teams.
• Data-Driven Decision Making — Define and track KPIs such as payment success rate, fraud loss rate, adoption, and transaction latency.
• Platform Stability & Incident Support — Support production stability, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or product ownership experience.
• Hands-on experience with digital payment networks (Zelle, RTP, FedNow, ACH, or comparable).
• Strong understanding of payment rails settlement lifecycle , and financial-services regulatory frameworks
• Proven ability to lead Agile teams and deliver complex technical products.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banking core systems, payment orchestration engines, or API-driven financial platforms.
• Familiarity with network certification processes, fraud-detection tools, or risk-scoring models.
• Certifications such as CSPO PSPO SAFe PO/PM , or equivalent. xhyhwjd
