The Environmental Services Technician plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout healthcare facilities and satellite locations.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Vacuum, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
- Empty trash and recycling containers and complete scheduled waste removal runs
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and entrances
- Wipe down and disinfect surfaces according to established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness standards in clinical and non-clinical areas
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Travel to nearby satellite facilities when required using a company-provided vehicle
- Report safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel between nearby facilities as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience
- Experience operating floor care equipment is a plus
- Full training provided
- Stable healthcare environment
