Contract | Days | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours/week expected

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff across float pool assignments
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams utilizing critical thinking and independent clinical judgment
• Apply professional and supervisory discretion in dynamic ICU and float pool environments
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC (required)
• Participate in holiday coverage, with willingness to work at least one major holiday per contract period expected

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
• Prior float pool or multi-unit ICU nursing experience
