Role Description A Host at Circle Wellness is the first point of connection for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional wellness experience from the moment they arrive. Hosts warmly welcome guests, oversee a seamless check-in process, provide knowledgeable guidance on our circuit experience and signature products, and ensure the space is impeccably presented at all times. With a polished, professional presence, exceptional interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail, hosts will create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to elevated hospitality and reinforces our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Deliver a warm, professional welcome to every guest, creating an exceptional first impression and a seamless arrival experience. Guide guests through the check-in process, including verifying appointments, ensuring required waivers are completed, and updating guest information in the booking system. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries by phone, email, and in person. Address guest feedback, questions, and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion, escalating issues when appropriate. Prepare special requests, retail purchases, and personalized guest amenities prior to arrival to ensure an elevated experience. Manage the daily schedule, including new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and last-minute scheduling changes. Complete administrative tasks including guest communications, session notes, maintaining accurate reports, and other front desk responsibilities. Communicate operational concerns, guest feedback, or service issues promptly to the Manager on Duty. Maintain an immaculate, welcoming reception area that reflects the premium standards and atmosphere of Circle Wellness Granville Island. Assist in maintaining retail displays by ensuring products are attractively merchandised, organized, and fully stocked. Support the Operations and Cleaning teams with facility upkeep as needed, including folding laundry, washing dishes, staging guest areas, and cleaning and sanitizing wellness circuits between sessions. Contribute to the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the facility to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and guest care. Support with additional tasks as communicated by the Manager on Duty or Operations team. Demonstrate a positive, collaborative attitude and contribute to a respectful, supportive, and professional team environment. Qualifications Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Previous experience in hospitality, wellness, luxury retail, spa, or customer service is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional service standards. Comfortable using booking, scheduling, and point-of-sale systems. Confident handling guest inquiries, resolving concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and sound judgment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling guest information. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to perform light physical duties, including standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs (11 kg), folding laundry, stocking retail displays, and supporting the cleanliness and presentation of the facility.
