Summary

Works under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy manager to support dispensing functions, pharmacy operational maintenance activities, inventory management, patient care activities, and to meet regulatory compliance. Serves as a trainer and mentor to pharmacy technician and students.

Responsibilities

Supports the pharmacy manager with staff training and onboarding. Supports pharmacy manager and pharmacist with clerical and administrative functions. Provides patient assistance program support by assisting with documentation requirements, copay assistance, and other duties as necessary or assigned. Performs cross functional duties of Pharmacy Technician I. Performs activities related to pharmacy technician scope of practice. Maintains automated dispensing systems as needed.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
