Stacker PositionThe Stacker role is accountable for ensuring the safe and accurate stacking of cartons and boxes. Prepares cartons/boxes for shipping and storage in a timely manner with consistent weight and sealing. Inspects cartons/boxes for quality and reports defective packaging immediately to the supervisor. Support duties also include making sure supplies and materials are available on each line.QualificationsManufacturing/Warehouse experience preferredDemonstrated ability to apply basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionKey Business OutcomesReduced DowntimeEnsure product weights are accurateIdentify inferior productKey Performance MetricsKeep up to pace with ordersAbility to quickly react to product jams and machine malfunctionsAccurately weigh productAccountabilitiesEnsures the safe and accurate stacking of cartons and boxes.Prepares cartons/boxes for shipping and storage in a timely manner with consistent weight and sealing.Inspects cartons/boxes for quality and reports defective packaging immediately to the supervisor.Ensures supplies and materials are available on each line.Efficiently stack cartons of various sizes and weights onto pallets for storage and shipment.Maintains a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.Collaborates with team members to ensure timely completion of stacking tasks.Follow all food and occupational safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.Physical Activities/DemandsThis position involves a moderate level of walking while tending to various machines in the production line. Ability to react quickly to product jams and machine malfunctions is necessary.This position requires the ability to: reach for product; walk moderate distances on concrete floors; lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds; communicate with others via voice, listening and verbal response; repeat motions with the wrists, hands and fingers; operate machinery and digital controls; visually inspect work in near/distant scenarios including need for peripheral vision and depth perception.Environmental ConditionsPhysical activities are performed in temperature controlled indoor environments which could include…noisy environments; slippery and wet floor conditions, exposure to regulated chemicals; dusty or poorly ventilated environments.Wysocki Family Farms is a EEO Employer
