Who we are Port Cities Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our leadership team as a Hospital Manager . The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional client service, outstanding veterinary care, and a positive work environment for our team. In partnership with the Chief of Staff, the Hospital Manager plays a key role in driving the productivity, profitability, and growth of the hospital while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Providing operational oversight of the hospital and daily workflow Leading and developing our technician and client service teams Managing financial performance, budgets, payroll, inventory, and key performance indicators Supporting business development and hospital growth initiatives Monitoring client satisfaction and implementing strategies to strengthen client loyalty Training and coaching team members to deliver exceptional client service Collaborating with doctors and department leaders to support quality patient care and operational excellence Recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining top talent Facility maintenance Qualifications We are seeking a leader who combines strong business acumen with hands-on veterinary technical experience. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials preferred Minimum of 5 years of veterinary technical experience , including: Supporting veterinarians during patient examinations Performing and overseeing laboratory services Assisting with vaccinations and preventive care Taking and reviewing radiographs (X-rays) Supporting surgical procedures Assisting with dentistry and dental radiography Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and execute efficiently Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Experience managing revenue, payroll, inventory, and operational budgets Ability to build and maintain a positive, collaborative team culture Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off Career Growth and Development Opportunities Generous Personal Pet Care Discounts Employee Assistance Program Continuing Education Support And More!
