Canton Mancan is assisting a local company in Magnolia with a Pre tie and fabrication associate.

Pay $18.00
schedule: 6a-4:30p Mon-Fri Sat 6am-2:30pm

Position Summary
The Pre-Tie Department Employee is responsible for assembling reinforcing steel (rebar) cages, mats, columns, and other fabricated reinforcing products according to project drawings, specifications, and company quality standards. This position requires safe operation of tools and equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble rebar cages, mats, columns, and other reinforcing steel products according to shop drawings.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, tags, and production schedules.
Measure, position, and secure reinforcing steel using wire, clips, and approved tying methods.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with loading, staging, and moving materials as needed.
Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous construction, manufacturing, or rebar experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions.
Basic math skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hand and arm movements.
