Aviator Suites Juneau is looking for an energetic and service-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to help build an exceptional guest experience from day one. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, creating memorable guest experiences, and contributing to the successful opening of a new hotel.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will assist with the daily operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards, strong team performance, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and associates alike.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support daily food and beverage operations
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest service
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling associates
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
- Monitor service quality and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all food and beverage areas
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control initiatives
- Support opening, closing, and cash handling procedures
- Work closely with hotel leadership to achieve departmental goals and guest satisfaction targets
- Help create a positive and engaging workplace culture
What We're Looking For
- Previous food and beverage, restaurant, bar, or hospitality leadership experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example and foster teamwork
- Experience with scheduling, training, and coaching associates is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed
