Senior Financial Analyst - Finance - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union)

Responsibilities Assist in decision support functions and the annual operating and capital budget processes. Maintain and enhance budgeting, cost accounting, and decision support systems including system implementation and development of cost accounting standards. Review and analyze financial information at an advanced level for complex management needs. Compile and analyze data from multiple information systems and determine the accuracy and applicability of conclusions. Produce complex financial reporting and analysis to support short‑and long‑term business and financial planning. Collect, analyze, and report clinical, quality, and financial information, including CFTE calculation and productivity benchmarking. Collaborate with management on financial and clinical analysis, design and generate standardized and patient‑level reports, and analyze related data. Conduct trend analysis on data and develop/maintain portions of clinic information structure in multiple systems. Provide input and guidance to other team members, proactively identify opportunities, and lead projects of moderate to high complexity, risk, and scope. Coordinate, organize, and complete strategic and complex projects that require data extraction, evaluation, interpretation, analysis, and summation of findings. Present results formally to senior management. Produce regular and ad‑hoc financial and operating reports. Evaluate and analyze reports and data, and develop conclusions and recommendations for management. Monitor financial operations for ambulatory care clinics, identify problems or trends, and evaluate solutions. Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations, and bring findings to senior management. Review existing accounting, reporting, and data‑management systems and methods for adequacy. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and related accounting documents or schedules. Contribute to the development and modification of financial systems and applications to enhance reporting and information capabilities. Identify and implement corrective actions, process improvements, or solutions to improve organizational performance. Perform special projects to improve process efficiency and performance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years of financial analysis and reporting experience with knowledge of computer simulation and forecasting techniques. Ability to perform planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting across functional areas. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to present financial information and models concisely and understandably. Working knowledge of financial strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Detail‑oriented and able to work under high‑pressure conditions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP, Oracle, or related financial systems. Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Required Licenses & Certifications Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) – card must be obtained within 30 days of hire and renewed before expiration.
