Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Fairfield, California. This role involves performing CT examinations and requires adaptability to work across different shifts, primarily day shifts during the week and evening shifts on weekends. You will be part of a dynamic team, ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality standards in imaging processes.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform C/T examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations.
• Evaluate each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being during examinations.
• Inspect and clean equipment prior to use.
• Report equipment failures and/or malfunctions to the radiology supervisor.
• Document patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions as per Q.A. policies.
• Process images, organize paperwork, and complete charges.
• Work in other areas of the department such as radiology and ultrasound.
• Meet or exceed organizational standards for Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and Department of Health.
• Take call or stand-by when required.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Experience: Two or more years in general radiology, with at least one year in C/T examinations.
• Skills: C/T examinations, patient instruction, study evaluation, patient safety, equipment inspection, quality assurance, image processing, paperwork organization, charge completion, radiology, ultrasound.
• Additional: Clerical and computer skills, interpersonal skills embodying caring, communication, collaboration, and competence.
• Language: Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
