Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and provide direct clinical care to assigned perioperative patients per shift
• Deliver and supervise perioperative nursing care within the operating room
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated and ensure competency and safety
• Collaborate with leadership to support high-quality, safe nursing care and appropriate resource management
• Manage equipment, supplies, and adherence to sterile technique and safety standards
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the surgical team

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in South Dakota or eligibility to practice per state requirements
• Perioperative nursing experience preferred; strong foundational OR skills expected
• BLS certification required
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts (0700–1730) in a perioperative setting
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and meet assignment requirements
