Job Overview As a qualified behavioral specialist provider, your role is to work with schools, educators, and students to improve academic performance, behavioral outcomes, and overall learning environments. Behavioral Aspects Behavioral Assessments Developing Behavior Plans Training and Workshops Data Collection & Analysis Crisis Intervention Collaboration and Consultation Professional Development Advocacy and Support Salary: $40.00 - $60.00 hourly Schedule: Monday - Friday Minimum 6-30 hours per week Employment: Full-time, Part-time, Independent Contractor Responsibilities and Duties Develop and implement educational plans to address identified needs Implement behavior support plans to ensure the successful remediation of problem behavior Integrate elements of person-centered planning as part of a coordinated PBS effort Provide parent training and skill-building activities at home and in the community Assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their support staff directly or indirectly to find meaningful, lasting connections in their neighborhoods. Requirements Minimum of Initial Certification in Education with talent/interest in ABA, PBS, or Special Education Preferred: LBA; acceptable: RBT, BCBA, or Special Education Teachers Fingerprint clearance as required by NYSED Bilingual Preferred Skills and Competencies Communication Speak and write clearly and accurately Influence and motivate others Impart information clearly and succinctly People Management Work collaboratively as a team member Exhibit commitment, flexibility, reliability, and support Work effectively with districts, parents, and colleagues Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills Collect information through observation, experience, reflection, and communication Analyze, synthesize, and evaluate processes to produce a comprehensive direction Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a fresh perspective on problems Formulate workable solutions to complex problems Quality/Compliance Achieve a standard of excellence in work processes and outcomes Honor policies and regulatory requirements Technical Literacy Fluently use productivity software, including Google Workspace and practice management software #J-18808-Ljbffr Positivebehavior
