**Years of Experience Required:** 18 months **First Timers Accepted:** Yes **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - BLS - NIH (Preferred) **Licensure:** - IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB **Special Requirements:** - Telemetry, IV Start, Cardiac & Vasoactive drips, BiPAP, and High Flow Oxygen required - Level I, II, III, or IV experience required - Vents, Charge Nurse Experience, Conscious Sedation preferred **Skills and Experience:** - BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - IV insulin protocols - Manage Cardiac drips - no titration - Manage Vasoactive drips - no titration - Management of dysrhythmias - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Post Cardiac Angiogram - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath - Starting and maintaining IVs - Titrate Cardiac drips - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Post watchman and ablation **Patient Ratios:** - Days: 4 - Nights: 4 - Weekends: 4 **Travelers University Accreditation:** - Must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation **Other Requirements:** - 2 supervisor references required - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s nearby **Local Policy:** - Not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions **Holiday Requirement:** - Must work 2/3 major holidays
