Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in cardiac or stepdown units preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity stepdown setting.
• Monitor and assess patient responses, supporting timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient data accurately to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including attendance policies and safety protocols.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• At least 2 years of experience in cardiac or stepdown nursing
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred:

• Experience with cardiovascular procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, or pacemakers
• Previous experience in a hospital setting caring for post-op cardiac patients
