• Middle School Teacher supporting students with emotional disabilities
• Middle School Teacher focused on students with functional and life skills needs
• Elementary Teacher working with children with emotional disabilities

Each role involves working at a single location, fostering strong daily connections with your students and colleagues.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Valid Kansas Special Education Certification (KS SPED Cert)
• Experience or strong interest in supporting students with emotional disabilities and/or functional/life skills requirements
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with student needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible, compassionate approach to engaging diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and growth
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and staff development opportunities
