We're currently seeking an Early Intervention Developmental Therapist ($57,000-$67,500/year)  in the Anchorage, AK area.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a related field. Related fields include Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with an Endorsement in Early Childhood, or equivalent, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Special Education with relevant experience.
• Professional Teaching Certificate (or an Initial Certificate with a Birth to Age Three endorsement)
• If you are relocating to Alaska from out of state, we will gladly consider teachers that need to apply for the teaching certificate in AK.

Role Overview:
The Early Intervention Developmental Specialist provides assessment and intervention services and strategies to assist in fostering the growth and development of children, birth through age three. The Developmental Specialist works as a team member using a coaching model to support the development and implementation of Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for families in the Anchorage area.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time
• Setting:  The child's natural environment, usually their home, where parents can be involved in their child's development 
• Caseload: Birth to three population
• Close-knit collaborative team of SLPs, OTs, and PTs working to bring out the best in every child
• In-person only

What you'll do:  

• Support early learning and physical development
• Partner with families using a coaching model embedded in daily routines
• Participate in evaluations and individualized family service planning
• Provide occupational therapy services in home and community settings
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers
