We are looking for an experienced, personable, and reliable Bartender to join our team at Valley Forge Trattoria & Lounge. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, provides excellent guest service, and has strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages accurately and consistently.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to bar guests.
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of our cocktail, wine, beer, and food menus.
• Make recommendations and help guests select drinks and menu items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Complete opening and closing side work.
• Properly handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Assist servers with service-bar drinks during busy periods.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies as needed.
• Work closely with management, servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to provide a smooth guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong cocktail and liquor knowledge.
• Wine knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during high-volume service.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

Our bartenders are expected to do more than simply make drinks. We want bartenders who create a welcoming atmosphere, build relationships with regulars, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant and bar.
