Dietary Aide – Aurora Behavioral Health System (Tempe, AZ) FULL-TIME Make a meaningful impact while growing your career.Aurora Behavioral Health System-Arizona's largest free‑standing psychiatric hospital-is seeking a motivated and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team in Tempe, AZ. Our 138‑bed inpatient hospital and outpatient programs serve adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric and chemical dependency needs. If you're passionate about quality, teamwork, and supporting patient care, this is an excellent opportunity to shine.About the RoleAs a Dietary Aide, you'll support our kitchen operations by preparing, organizing, and serving meals that meet a variety of dietary guidelines. You'll help ensure our patients, visitors, and staff receive safe, nutritious, and well‑presented meals every day.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environmentPrepare, portion, and serve meals on tray lines with accuracyLabel, date, store, and rotate food items according to safety standardsReceive, check, and properly store food and supply deliveriesMonitor and document food and refrigeration temperaturesFollow all dietary, safety, and quality control guidelinesAssist the Cook with special meal requests and catered functionsSkills & QualificationsStrong organizational and time‑management skillsAbility to prepare appropriate quantities of food for each meal serviceKnowledge of safe food handling, storage, and sanitation practicesFlexibility to assist with various cooking and prep tasksReliability, teamwork, and a positive, professional attitudeMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredMust be at least 21 years oldCurrent negative TB test or medical clearanceMust meet fingerprint clearance requirementsWhy Join Aurora Behavioral Health?Competitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageSupportive team environmentOpportunity to contribute to meaningful, life‑changing workAurora Behavioral Health System is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
