PRN Dental Hygienist - Post Falls Perio and ImplantsWe are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team as PRN. The ideal candidate will have up to five years of clinical experience and be comfortable providing care in a periodontal setting.In this role, you will deliver high quality preventive and periodontal hygiene services, educate patients on oral health and home care, and support our commitment to exceptional patient experiences. Our team is dedicated to outstanding patient care and treatment excellence, creating a supportive environment for both patients and team members.ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, polishing, and root planing as neededTake and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)Conduct oral health assessments and chart conditions of teeth and gumsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive carePrepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocolsAssist the dentist during exams and procedures as neededDocument patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental recordMonitor and maintain hygiene supplies and equipmentEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standardsPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assignedQualificationsValid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practiceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGentle and compassionate chairside mannerProficiency with dental software and digital chartingAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamAttention to detail and commitment to delivering quality careFamiliarity with common dental procedures and patient education techniquesSpecialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
