Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Northern Neck Senior Care Community is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy team! New Grads Welcome!* $2,500 Re-location Assistance/Sign-On Bonus Available*Key Responsibilities:Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, gait training, balance activities, and use of assistive devices.Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.Assist residents with mobility and physical functioning to support daily living activities.Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on mobility techniques and use of adaptive equipment.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, progress notes, and other required records.Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all residents.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to support resident care plans.Adhere to all federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.Qualifications:Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current VA licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric setting preferred.Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.Career Advantages:Rare in-house opportunityCompetitive rates and flexible work schedulePractice in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical careClinical expertise and training availableElectronic documentation systemWork collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staffJoin our team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients through dedicated physical therapy services!
