Job Summary
Operates forklift to move products between plants. Load and unloads trucks.
Specific Duties
- Operates powered lift trucks (both sitting & standing types)
- Maintains routine forklift inspection reports.
- Maintains organization in materials warehouse.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
Skills
- Must have 6 or more months of previous forklift experience.
- Must be able to pass a written and practical forklift exam.
- Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16"
Performance Expectations
- Must be able to sit for 8-10 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in areas that are not climate controlled in the summer and winter months.
- Must be able to work in areas that have exposure to wood dust.
- Must pass drug test.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
