Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Magnum is hiring a Yard Driver/Freight Handler to support daily terminal operations by safely moving trailers throughout the yard and dock areas. This role is essential to keeping freight moving efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized yard environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of LTL yard and dock operations, and trailer management.

What You'll Do

Safely operate a semi-truck and trailer in accordance with company policies and state regulations
Move trailers in and out of dock doors and around the yard efficiently
Perform daily yard checks and maintain awareness of trailer locations and conditions
Coordinate trailer repairs and communicate maintenance needs
Track and inventory trailer equipment
Oversee and support daily yard operations
Back trailers into docks and move equipment between terminals or drop yards
Sweep and clean trailers as needed
Couple and uncouple trailers, including connecting/disconnecting air and electrical lines and operating fifth-wheel locks
Assist on the LTL dock moving freight as needed
