Tableau Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define complex business and technical requirements .
Design and develop Tableau dashboards and visualizations following best practices.
Build and maintain efficient Tableau data sources with row-level security.
Prepare and transform data using SQL, Tableau Prep, and cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery).
Support Agile development processes including sprint planning, testing, and deployment.
Lead or contribute to ETL pipeline development for analytics platforms.
Ensure performance optimization and usability across Tableau assets.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7 years of hands-on Tableau development experience, including Tableau Prep .
Strong SQL and data modeling skills with experience in Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks .
Proven ability to design scalable, secure, high-performing Tableau solutions .
Familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies ( Jira, GitHub ).

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Power BI, Looker, MicroStrategy, or Python .
Tableau or BI certifications .
