Overview
Permanent inpatient Internal Medicine opportunity providing overnight hospitalist care with a manageable census and strong specialist support, ideal for both new graduates and experienced physicians seeking work-life balance.
Practice Highlights
Inpatient nocturnist role with an average census of 510 patients per night
Admissions from ED and direct physician referrals
Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist consultant support
Collaborative care with nursing, specialists, case management, and ancillary teams
Participation in interdisciplinary rounds and structured handoffs
Discharge planning coordination to ensure safe transitions of care
Quality improvement, safety initiatives, and performance metrics involvement
Teaching and mentorship opportunities for learners and APPs (if applicable)
Paragon EMR system
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (within 1 year) REQUIRED
New graduates accepted
1 year of experience preferred, not required
New York license (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
DEA REQUIRED
Clean malpractice and license history REQUIRED

Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed base salary: $325,000 annually
$15,000 starting bonus
