Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working in resource, inclusion, behavior, or structured learning settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Dedication to supporting a positive and inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver personalized instructional plans aligned with IEP goals
• Support students in resource and inclusion classrooms as well as specialized learning environments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
• Implement behavioral strategies and provide positive reinforcement
• Track and report progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Engage with families to communicate student achievements and areas of growth
• Foster independence and life skills in students with varied learning abilities
