What you will do as a Lifeguard:

• Monitor and always maintain active surveillance for the Community Center's pool, spa, and splash pad.
• Know, understand, and consistently apply safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the pool and surrounding areas.
• Provide assistance to swimmers in difficulty and strives to prevent accidents by ensuring proper utilization of the facility.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Lifeguard, you'll need:

• To be certified in First Aid, CPR and Lifesaving.
• A certification in Water Safety Instruction (WSI) strongly preferred.
• Experience with youth programs preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs.
