We take pride in delivering top-tier products and services to our clients across the Mid-Atlantic region.We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team who values precision, communication, and compliance. \"This role is critical to ensuring the timely and secure roll off delivery of our materials while upholding our company’s safety standards and maintaining full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.\"Position Overview:As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and roll off delivery of our building components to construction sites and customer locations. This role requires a strong knowledge of load securement, safety regulations, and route compliance, as well as the ability to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:• Plan daily routes in collaboration with the production planner, prioritizing safe and legal travel paths.• Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is roadworthy and compliant with DOT regulations.• Ensure secure and compliant load tie-downs, using proper safety equipment and best practices.• Verify load weight and distribution to prevent axle overloads and ensure stability on the road.• Operate and maintain Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) in compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations (we use Kinesis Fleet).• Maintain full compliance with state and federal transportation laws, especially within MD, NJ, PA, VA, and WV (interstate drivers must be 21+).• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding estimated arrival times and delivery status.• Report safety concerns, delays, or vehicle issues to supervisors and internal teams in a timely manner.• Operate a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) as needed, following all applicable safety procedures.
