Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through detailed interviews, standardized assessments, and collaborative goal-setting, ensuring individualized treatment planning.
• Provide mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals, particularly focusing on children and adolescents working through emotional and psychological challenges.
• Address trauma-related issues, including PTSD, employing trauma-informed care practices that promote safety and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with legal standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines.
• Implement behavior management strategies that facilitate coping and resilience-building among clients facing diverse challenges.
• Engage in ongoing clinical research initiatives to explore innovative treatment methodologies that promote optimal client outcomes.
• Utilize advanced telehealth technologies to expand service access, ensuring clients can receive the support they need from the comfort of their homes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, care managers, and support staff to optimize client care pathways and reinforce treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus for this role is supporting adolescents and adults managing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications

• A valid Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) licensure in Vermont.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and behavior management techniques.
• Proven experience with telehealth service delivery methods is essential for this position.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
