TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care experience required. Transplant experience preferred. Description: The traveler will work in both IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and IMC Thoracic unit. Day shifts are 12 hours from 07:00 to 19:30. Every other weekend rotation and some holidays are required. Limited requests for time off will be available during the holiday weeks. The traveler must be willing to work on specific holidays. Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting. Skills in managing and caring for patients with various respiratory and cardiac needs are essential. Experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing telemetry is required. The candidate should have post-operative care experience and be comfortable with chest tubes and arterial line management. Development of a dynamic care unit will require strong teamwork and the ability to provide compassionate care. Engagement in acquiring new skills and integrating evidence-based practices into the unit culture is encouraged. Travelers may be required to float as needed. A passing score must be achieved for cardiac rhythm interpretation exams. Each candidate will be allowed two attempts to pass these exams, with additional requirements for further attempts outlined.
