Tahquamenon Area Schools Salary: $25,000 Tahquamenon Area Schools is seeking a dedicated and community-minded Part-Time Athletic Director to support and grow our athletic programs. We are looking for someone who understands the important role school athletics play in building character, teamwork, school pride, and community spirit. In our close-knit district, the Athletic Director is more than an administrator. This individual serves as a leader, organizer, mentor, and ambassador - helping create positive experiences for our student-athletes while fostering strong relationships with families, coaches, staff, and community members. ## Essential Responsibilities - Coordinate all athletic-related services and operations, including team rosters, transportation requests, game scheduling, and officials' assignments. - Work closely with coaches to ensure athletic programs are organized, compliant, and student-focused. - Facilitate meetings and maintain open communication with coaches, staff, parents, and community stakeholders. - Oversee athletic events from preparation through completion, including event setup, supervision, and cleanup. - Help ensure all contests and athletic activities are conducted in a safe, positive, and sportsmanlike manner. - Support and promote academic and athletic excellence among student-athletes. - Maintain athletic schedules and communicate timely updates regarding games, practices, and events. - Represent Tahquamenon Area Schools in a professional and positive manner at all times. - Serve as a visible presence at athletic events and strengthen community engagement in school activities. ## Why Join Tahquamenon Area Schools?
