Senior Equipment Technician - for Car Wash As a Senior Equipment Technician, you will lead a team of 5 technicians and keep our sites running at peak performance through expert troubleshooting, disciplined preventive maintenance, and a proactive mindset that catches problems before they ever cause downtime. You take pride in doing the job right the first time, every time. Responsibilities Keep the operation running - Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, replace defective parts, align components, and use hand and power tools with precision and safety. Prevent before you repair - Execute preventive maintenance proactively — you anticipate failure points before they become outages. Reactive-only isn't good enough here. Troubleshoot with curiosity - Apply systematic problem-solving to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You understand how things work — and you use that understanding to find better solutions. Document everything - Close out work orders, update CMMS logs accurately, and red-line drawings. Your documentation protects the sites after you leave. Elevate the team - Train site staff on proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair techniques. You share what you know. Support site launches - Assist with new site installations and equipment launches for smooth start-up and optimal performance. Stay available - Respond to after-hours emergencies and on-call needs — when the site needs you, you show up.
